HURRICANE HARVEY DONATION DRIVE – SEPTEMBER 14-22, 2017
LRES is teaming up with Oso Grande, Chaparral and LRMS to adopt a school district in Sour Lake, Texas, a community negatively impacted by Hurricane Harvey. The Sour Lake Middle School was flooded and is considered a complete loss. In addition, hundreds of students lost their homes in the flood as well as 26 teachers. Please consider making a donation in one of the following ways:
1) DIRECT DONATIONS, USING AMAZON WISH LIST
Go online and purchase school supplies that will be directly shipped from Amazon to our adopted schools and teachers in Texas. The below link takes you there. OR, you can search for the Wish List using the search terms: “Orange County Helps Hurricane Harvey.”
2) GIFT CARD DONATIONS
If you prefer, you can donate gift cards (in any amount) to Amazon, Wal-Mart or Target. LRES PTA will then use these gift cards to purchase items that the school district has requested (such as healthy snacks and backpacks). Leave gift card donations in the LRES office.
3) MONETARY DONATIONS
Write a check to LRES PTA with “Harvey Relief Fund” in your memo. Your LRES PTA team will use the money raised to purchase needed supplies. Drop off monetary donations in the LRES office.
Questions? Please visit the Ladera Ranch Elementary PTA Facebook page or contact Sarah Parsons at email@example.com.
