Winter Break: December 22 – January 5. Students return to school January 8.
LRES Pajama Day “Wear a Pair/Bring a Pair”
Our LRES Student Council is sponsoring Pajama Day on Wednesday, December 6. In the spirit of Lion Kindness, we will also be collecting NEW pajamas to donate to the Orangewood Foundation, which serves local foster youth. If you would like to donate, please have your child bring a NEW pair of pajamas in a gallon-size re-sealable plastic bag marked with the gender & size on Wednesday, December 6, and bring it to the tables on the blacktop before school starting at 8:45 am. All sizes are needed, including child and adult sizes for teens.
Holiday Grams
Bring some holiday cheer to a friend, classmate, or teacher! Student Council will be selling Holiday Grams December 11-15. They will be 2 for $1.00.

Lost and Found
Parents and students, please be sure to check the lost and found for items that could belong to you. All items will be donated December 21st.
Smens/Smencil Sale
Our next sale will be on Wednesday, December 13th @ 8:45 on the blacktop. $1.00 for smencils and $2.00 for smens.

5th Grade Winter Concert: Thursday, December 21 @ 8:10 am in the MPR.
PTA News
FAMILY ART NIGHT
Our Family Fun Night – ART NIGHT – will be held Tuesday, December 5th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm in the MPR. There will be arts and crafts for all ages to enjoy! We will also be showcasing Reflections artwork designed by our LRES students. Stop in for ten minutes or stay a while to enjoy refreshments and some festive fun with family and friends.
Spiritwear Sale
New spiritwear shirts are here for boys and girls! We will be doing a Spiritwear Sale on Wednesday, December 6th before the morning announcements. There are a limited number of shirts, so please swing by to buy your shirt before they run out! All shirts are $15 each.
Golden Pride Ticket Celebration is coming soon!
The Golden Pride Ticket celebration is coming up on Friday, December 15th. This celebration is for students who have collected 100 Pride Tickets.
